Neuromuscular dentistry is when the problems that exist in the TM joints will be fixed. TMJ, TMD or however you’ve termed it is where the joints will swell in the connection between the skull and mandible. A very painful experience for those who have this disorder. And one that can be helped by your dentist.
This TMD can be caused by many things; even a simple misalignment of your jaw can cause some serious pain. How it happened is really what you should worry about, but getting rid of the pain is you main priority.
